Look no more, you’ve found your tutor!!! I don’t usually take the time to write reviews but I have to for Darryl as he really helped my daughter with Geometry and she achieved an A on her Geometry final and for her Geometry class. He’s has always been so professional and flexible when we’ve needed him. My daughter truly understood all the concepts of Geometry thanks to Darryl! Can’t wait to work with him again this year! Darryl is a fantastic tutor. He has been extremely helpful to my daughter who took Geometry this year as a 7th grader. Darryl clearly had mastery of the material and could teach it in a clear and methodical way. He was always patient and encouraging of my daughter. My daughter gained confidence and her grades improved. I would strongly recommend Darryl without hesitation. He has a calm and friendly demeanor and is a pleasure to work with.

After our son’s first session with Darryl, I asked him how it went. He replied “Great, and I had fun.” Ever since then whenever he feels like he’s getting bogged down or needs some extra test prep, he sends me a text saying, “I need Darryl tonight”. Darryl is an extremely effective tutor who knows how to keep the student interested. He has helped our son with Algebra and Geometry as well. He will remain our go to for any math tutoring needs.

My daughter (High School Sophmore) challenged herself this year by signing up for Honors Geometry. We enlisted the help of Daryl to tutor her through the course. Best decision we could have made. Daryl’s knowledge of the subject matter, patience, flexibility and teaching ability all combined to give my daughter the confidence to tackle her most difficult subject and achieve a high grade. I recommend Daryl for any kids out there looking for some incremental support in higher level math. We will continue to use him for the rest of high school math and feel very fortunate to have found him.

Darryl has been working with my son for two years now, helping him with both Algebra and Geometry. My son has math phobia and Darryl has really assisted him in learning how to work through problems and to gain confidence in math. During the pandemic, my son found himself looking forward to his weekly tutoring sessions with Darryl. He is truly one of the best tutors out there — patient, kind, understanding and supportive. We were very lucky to find him through Nextdoor!
