If you’ve been looking for tutoring services in North County San Diego, you’ve probably seen a range of fees for in-home Algebra, Geometry and Common Core Math tutoring ranging from roughly $40 to $80 an hour. Fees will vary according to experience and qualifications. My fee is $70.00 per hour. It comes with 22 years of personal one on one tutoring experience here in Carlsbad, Encinitas and the surrounding areas, a proven track record and excellent reviews. I can come to your home or we can meet at a library. We can also tutor online if you prefer. There are no contracts and you don’t have to pay in advance or give me your credit card info. You can pay me at the end of each session. You will be able to deal with me personally and I will accept payment through cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, and Paypal. It’s that easy!

Hours and fees

Darryl is a fantastic tutor. He has been extremely helpful to my daughter who took Geometry this year as a 7th grader. My daughter (High School Sophmore) challenged herself this year by signing up for Honors Geometry. We enlisted the help of Daryl to tutor her through the course. Best decision we could have made. Daryl’s knowledge of the subject matter, patience, flexibility and teaching ability all combined to give my daughter the confidence to tackle her most difficult subject and achieve a high grade. I recommend Daryl for any kids out there looking for some incremental support in higher level math. We will continue to use him for the rest of high school math and feel very fortunate to have found him.

Darryl has been working with my son for two years now, helping him with both Algebra and Geometry. My son has math phobia and Darryl has really assisted him in learning how to work through problems and to gain confidence in math.
