1. Find the 20’th term of the arithmatic sequence in which the first term (a1) =5 and d=4  n=20

(a1)  is the first term and the difference between any two adjacent terms is 4

use the formula an= a1 +(n-1)(d)

= 5+(19)(4)

=81

2. Find the sixth term of the geometric sequence  in which a1 is 5 and r=3

an=a1(r^n-1)

a6=5(3^5)

a6=5(243)

a6=1215
